💔 Post:
I used to think healing would be sudden.
That one day, the tears would stop.
That one prayer would make the pain vanish.
That one hug would make the grief disappear.
But I’ve learned that healing doesn’t happen all at once.
It comes in pieces.
It comes in quiet moments.
It comes in layers—one breath, one prayer, one step at a time.
Some days, I laugh.
Some days, I cry.
Some days, I feel both within a single hour. And that’s okay.
Healing is not linear. It is not neat. It doesn’t come with a schedule or a checklist.
It comes like soft rain on dry ground—slow, gentle, but life-giving.
If you feel like you’re not healing fast enough, let me remind you:
You’re still healing.
Even in the pause. Even in the silence. Even in the struggle.
This chapter in my story—and in my book—is a testament to that. There is no shame in slow healing. In fact, that’s where the sacred happens.

If you needed this reminder today, I hope it finds your heart gently. Please share it with someone who’s grieving slowly, quietly, and faithfully. And if you’re ready for a companion on your healing journey, I invite you to read my book—written from one broken-but-healing soul to another.
