The Ministry of Tears — When Crying Is Worship

Post:

There were days when I couldn’t pray with words.
My prayers sounded like sobs.
My worship looked like weeping.
And for a long time, I thought that meant I was failing in my faith.

But then I discovered something holy in the middle of my pain:

Tears are worship too.

God isn’t repelled by our tears.
He receives them.
He holds them.
He stores them in a bottle, Scripture says—not one tear wasted, not one unnoticed.

💧 We cry because we love.
We cry because we believe.
We cry because the pain is too heavy to carry silently.

There’s a sacred ministry in those tearful moments—where words fail but presence remains.
Where grief and God meet in the most intimate space of the heart.

I used to apologize for crying during worship.
Now I know:

My tears were the offering.
My silence was still a song.
My trembling hands lifted toward heaven were enough.

God sees it all.
And He isn’t disappointed—He’s close.

If you’ve ever wept in the dark wondering if your tears mattered, please know this:

God is near. He hears you. And your tears are not wasted.
